Despensa

Right now most of my nights and weekends go into Despensa, which I started after forgetting which farmer I had bought from the previous week. I also just wanted to build something and took inspiration from some of my favorite consumer apps/websites. There are beautiful diary entries for films, runs, and restaurant meals. There truly isn’t one for farmers markets or dinner parties, two things that I am completely obsessed with!

Deliberately, it is not Yelp for farmers markets — no star ratings for stalls, no rankings, no leaderboards, no way to leave a bad review. You rate the produce you ate, not the person who grew it. The point is to build real relationships with those farmers and to keep showing up.
